Fiber and cable use wired access. Fixed wireless connects a gateway over radio. A mobile hotspot shares a portable connection. Each has its own equipment, availability and data conditions.

- Resolve the phone’s carrier lock.
- Review remaining device finance and credits.
- Prepare matching account information.
- Obtain private transfer credentials securely.
- Activate through the receiving provider.
- Test calls, messages, voicemail and data.
- Confirm the old line’s status and remaining services.
